This Privacy Policy applies to ALL visitors to our Website and users of our Product, including users who are mere visitors to our site, registered users and users who have entered into separate written agreements with us. Information that we collect/Receive; the purpose of collection and use

Contact Information: You volunteer certain information about yourself, including your name, email address, phone number, position and organization (“Contact Information”) at the time of creating an account with us, or when you simply requisition our services, including when you sign up to receive our newsletter, request a demo of the service, or when you contact us through the “Contact Us” page. Billing Information: In addition, if you purchase our Services, you will be required to provide certain additional information which may include a credit card number, name on the card, CVV, and expiration date. (“Billing Information”). Billing Information is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, and therefore will be received by them. Joe Data does not directly obtain or process any Billing Information.

Other Information: In addition to the Contact Information, we may collect or receive the following (“Other Information”):

  1. From Your Activity: We automatically collect certain information when you visit the website or use the product. This information could include IP addresses, country of access, browser type and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of the website or product is visited or accessed by you, and similar information concerning your use of the websites and the Product. This information is primarily collected so as to improve our services, as well as to help you enjoy a better user experience, or in the case of access from outside India, so as to show you country-specific pricing.

These may include session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) as well as persistent cookies (which stay on your computer/device until you delete them). By granting access to your Third-Party Provider accounts, you are authorizing Joe Data to collect, store, and use, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, any and all information that you have authorized the Third-Party Provider to provide to Joe Data.
  6. Aggregate Data: We may analyze your information in aggregate form in order to operate, maintain, manage, and improve the Website, and the Products. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. We may share this aggregate data with our affiliates, agents, and business partners. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our products and services to current and prospective business partners and to other third parties for other lawful purposes. In addition, we may provide aggregated statistical collective user information, to our partners so that they understand how often people use specific components of our Services.
  7. Additional Uses: We also use information collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy to provide our services to you; to maintain and improve our Website, and Product; to solicit your feedback; and to inform you about our products and services and those of our third-party marketing partners.

How We Share Your Information

Onward Transfer to Third Parties: Like most businesses, we have agreements with service providers to provide certain services that facilitate our business, such as, for example, processing of payments, monitoring and analyzing Websites activity, and hosting servers. We may therefore disclose Information, including personal information in some cases, to certain types of third-party companies so as to enable them to provide such services. The information so transferred will be only so much as is essential for the provision of such services, and we ensure that such service provider has a privacy policy that is as stringent as the terms of this Policy.

Accessing and Modifying Personal Information and Communication Preferences

Upon request to privacy@howindialives.com, we will confirm whether we are processing your personal information, and have the data communicated to you within a reasonable time. You have the right to correct, amend, or delete your personal information where it is inaccurate or has been processed in violation of this Privacy Policy, to the extent that it is permitted by Indian law. We may require payment of a reasonable fee to meet our expenses in this regard. When you update information, however, we often maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records. You may delete your account with us by following the deletion process. Some information may remain in our records after you discontinue your account.

In addition, you may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any marketing email from Joe Data or contacting us at privacy@howindialives.com.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, dissolution, or similar corporate event or the sale of all or substantially all of our assets, we expect that the information that we have collected and/or received, including personal information, would be transferred to the surviving entity in a merger or to the acquiring entity. All such transfers shall be subject to our commitments with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of such personal information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Disclosures to Public Authorities

In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including at the request of law enforcement agencies for the purpose of national security. Retention of Personal Information

We may continue processing your personal information for longer periods, but only for the time and to the extent such processing reasonably serves the purposes of archiving in the public interest and/or journalism, and statistical analysis, and subject to the protection of this Privacy Policy. After such time periods have expired, we may either delete your personal information or retain it in a form such that it does not identify you personally.

The websites, and the Product may contain links to third party websites. Joe Data has no control over the privacy practices of these third-party websites. As such, we are not responsible for the privacy policies of those sites, or the protection of data that you provide to those sites.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 01.02.2020. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, and will post any changes on the website or the Product as soon as they go into effect. By accessing the websites, and/or the Product after any such changes to this Privacy Policy, you are deemed to have accepted such changes. Please refer back to this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.
